We believe in the quality of our products. If for any reason the quality of your purchase isn't what you expected, please let us know as soon as possible. We want you to be our best advocate - if you're not happy, we're not happy.

We also understand that sometimes your purchase may not quite be you. In these cases you can simply return your purchase for either an exchange, store credit or refund (conditions apply).

Return Eligibility & Timeframes

Clothing – Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

You can return Angry Penguins clothing within 14 days of delivery for a refund, store credit, or exchange, as long as:

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Tags are attached
  • It is returned with original packaging (e.g. satchel or box)
  • Return is lodged within the 14-day window

What You Get:

  • Refund – for eligible items returned within 14 days
  • Exchange – if your requested size is available
  • Store Credit – if you prefer, or the item is out of stock

We provide free return shipping on clothing only (Australian customers only)

Not Accepted:
• No returns accepted after 14 days
• No returns on worn, washed, or tagged-removed items


Headwear & Accessories – Returns

Headwear and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, store credit, or exchange — provided they are:

  • Headwear - unworn, with tags attached
  • Headwear and accessories - free of odour, marks, or sweat damage
  • Accessories - Unopened and unused
  • Returned in original packaging
  • Headwear is to be returned in a box or structured packaging to prevent crushing

What You Get: Refund, store credit, or exchange (your choice, if approved)

Return shipping is paid by the customer

Not Accepted:
• Headwear returned flat-packed, creased, or worn
• No returns accepted after 14 days


Paddle Returns

Within 14 Days – Full Refund, Credit, or Exchange

You're eligible for a full refund, store credit, or exchange if your paddle is:

  • Unused and in as-new condition
  • Grip plastic intact and unbroken
  • No signs of handling, wear, dirt, or scuffs
  • Returned with original packaging

Within 15–30 Days – Refund or Credit Only (20% Restocking Fee)

If returned between 15–30 days, we offer:

  • Refund or store credit, minus a 20% restocking fee
  • No exchanges
  • Paddle must be lightly used only - meaning: no visible wear, no damage, no modification
  • Angry Penguins reserves the right to refuse return requests at its discretion

Paddles will be considered damaged or ineligible if they show:
• Removed, marked, or soiled grips
• Odour, sweat damage, or moisture exposure
• Scuffed, scratched, cracked, or dented edge guards
• Any markings or surface wear on the face
• Packaging damage or missing components
• Any signs of heavy use

Damaged or ineligible paddles will not be refunded or credited. If you request it, we'll return the item to you at your cost.


Sale Items

Sale items are final sale, unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
Store credit or exchange may be offered (at our discretion) if:

  • Claimed within 14 days
  • Item is in original, unused condition with tags and packaging

How to Start a Return

  1. Email admin@angrypenguins.com
  2. Include your order number, a brief explanation, and photos if applicable
  3. We'll confirm return eligibility and provide next steps

If approved, exchanges, store credit or refund (as applicable) will be processed within 10 business days of receipt of the returned goods.


Consumer Guarantees

All Angry Penguins products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A refund or replacement for a major failure
  • A repair, replacement, or store credit for minor issues

We're committed to resolving things fairly, every time.


Paddle Warranty – 12-Month Limited

Angry Penguins paddles are built to the highest standards using quality materials – we stand behind every paddle that we sell.

We offer a 12-month limited warranty on all paddles for:

  • Core delamination
  • Structural defects
  • Handle failure under normal use

Not covered:

  • Cosmetic damage, fading, scratches, edge wear
  • Misuse, ground strikes, impact, or weather exposure
  • Commercial or rental use
  • Rattling that doesn't affect performance
