If you’ve just bought a new Angry Penguins paddle and have an old one lying around — don’t toss it. Let’s do something better with it.

The Paddle Forward Recycling Program rewards you for helping reduce landfill waste while supporting community sport and inclusion programs. We’ll give you a $40 Angry Penguins digital gift card when you return any used paddle (any brand) after your AP purchase.

Why We’re Doing This

At Angry Penguins, we’re building more than a brand — we’re building a movement grounded in community, sustainability, and thoughtful growth.

Pickleball paddles are made from performance-grade materials like carbon fibre and fibreglass — brilliant for play, but brutal for landfill. From day one, we knew there had to be a better way.

So we created Paddle Forward — a simple, real-world step toward reducing waste and giving paddles a second life.

Return. Recycle. Repurpose.

That second life might look like:

  • A school coaching session

  • A local community club

  • An inclusion or adaptive sport program

  • A player’s very first game

  • Or even a creative artwork that tells a new story

We want to help bridge the gap — so that people who can’t afford a paddle, or who just need a chance to play, can still experience the joy of pickleball.

Who’s Eligible?

You can apply if you:

  • Have purchased a new Angry Penguins paddle (Flipper or Abyss – proof required)

  • Are returning any old paddle (Angry Penguins or another brand)

  • Register within 21 days of your AP paddle purchase

  • Submit a clear photo of your used paddle

  • Send your paddle back within 14 days of registering

This offer is limited to one recycled paddle per new AP paddle purchase.

What We Accept — and What We Don’t

✅ We accept paddles from any brand, as long as:

  • They’re used but still functional

  • No cracks, splits, or broken faces

  • A clear photo is submitted

  • Your purchase is within the timeframe

❌ We do not accept:

  • Heavily damaged or broken paddles

  • Late returns

  • More than one return per paddle purchase

We reserve the right to decline any submission that doesn’t meet the criteria.

How It Works

  1. Buy a paddle – Any Angry Penguins pickleball paddle model

  2. Register online within 21 days of purchase (receipt and paddle photo required)

  3. Send us your old paddle within 14 days of registering

  4. Receive your $40 gift card by email once approved

Return shipping is at your own cost — but the impact is shared.

Important Notes

  • Program is open to Angry Penguins customers only

  • One gift card per paddle purchase

  • Paddle must be functional (not broken)

  • Gift cards are not redeemable for cash

  • Include your confirmation email inside your return package
